Center for Urban Economic Development (CUED)- Neighborhood Indicators Basic demographic and socioeconomic indicators for Chicago's 77 Community Areas based on the 2000 Census &Employment Change in the Manufacturing Sector: Series of tables tracking employment change and firm growth in the Chicago PMSA and the City of Chicago, 1989-2000.

Chicago Geographic Information System Kiosk  City of Chicago's online GIS system
Chicago Housing Authority- Housing Development Map  The housing development map provides a GIS map of CHA housing developments including the plans for transformation. Each map symbol contains a link to a page long description of each development.
Chicago Landmarks Survey  Search Chicago's architecturally and historically significant buildings. The Chicago Historic Resources Survey (CHRS), completed in 1995, was a decade-long research effort by the City of Chicago to analyze the historic and architectural importance of all buildings constructed in the city prior to 1940. During 12 years of fieldwork and follow-up research that started in 1983, CHRS surveyors identified 17,371 properties which were considered to have some historic or architectural importance. The CHRS database identifies each property's date of construction, architect, building style and type, Chicago Landmark status (LM), inclusion in the Illinois Historic Structures Survey (ISS), and property identification numbers (PIN).

City of Chicago- Division of Maps and Plats On-Line Kiosk  Division of Maps and Plats On-Line Kiosk. Contains: Aerial photography of the city taken in the summer of 2002, 80-Acre sheet maps display assigned street addresses for parcels(Each sheet represents one half of a quarter-section), Structure basemaps show existing building footprints and an address for each building, Community Area maps display boundaries of community areas within Chicago.

EPA- CERCLIS Database  Search CERCLIS for information on hazardous waste sites across the nation.
HUD- Renewal Community/Empowerment Zone/Enterprise Community (RC/EZ/EC) Locator  The Address Locator allows you to find out if a business or residence is located within a Renewal Community, Empowerment Zone or Enterprise Community. This online tool can help verify if a particular location is eligible for the tax incentives offered in RC - EZ - EC areas. Both current and past designations are shown in the designation history.
HUD- Single Family Revitalization Area Locator  The Address Locator allows you to find out if a single family property is located within a Revitalization Area. This online tool can help verify if a particular location is eligible for the discount sale programs offered in revitalization areas.
 
Metro Chicago Information Center  Retrieve map and data information on specific area's throughout the metropolitan region.
Metropolitan Planning Council  Provides various studies that include regional data and statistics in various subject area's: Education, Housing, Regional Development - Sensible Growth, Technology, Transportation, Urban Development
Northeastern Illinois Planning Commission (CMAP)  CMAP - the Northeastern Illinois Planning Commission - is the official comprehensive planning agency for the six-county Chicago metropolitan area.
